Plans for the Centre's
9th Year
In September 2004, the Centre
will be beginning its ninth year of operation
and fifth
group of new particpants, adults with
intellectual and related disabilities. Each participant
follows a program of creative arts therapies with three
of the four of modalities that the Centre offers: art, drama,
music, and dance/movement therapy, over a three year period.
Looking Forward...
In the
year 2006, the Centre will celebrate it's 10th anniversary
and a special public outreach program will be launched to
celebrate its artistic, creative, and therapeutic acheivements
since its inception in 1996.
The CBC's
television show The National Magazine aired a 22
minute documentary on our original musical
And Alice Dreams... The documentary,
called Finding Wonderland,
looks at the lives of three of the musical's lead
actors. To find out more, contact the Centre.
The Centre has launched I Can!, a CD
that features the original musical highlights of our first
three shows: Oh, That Aladdin!, The Winds of Oz,
and And Alice Dreams... The proceeds
from all sales will support the Centre.
